Leeward CC subscribes to several streaming video collections. These collections include Kanopy and Swank.

Kanopy is a streaming service providing thousands of high-quality, full-length films and documentaries from hundreds of top producers. Why subscribe to Netflix when you can watch films for free?

Note: All Leeward users must create a (free) personal account to view Kanopy content. View a short how-to video on Kanopy.

Swank is another streaming service at the library. Unlike Kanopy, Swank titles are requested by instructors for use in their classes. The curated Swank collection is limited but includes titles from major film studios except 20th Century Fox that are unavailable in other streaming collections like Kanopy and Academic Video Online (AVON).

Instructors: Contact a librarian to request a title in the Swank catalog.

Other Streaming Collections at the Leeward CC Library

  • Ethnographic Video Online: Volume III, Indigenous Voices

All Leeward CC students, faculty, and staff have access to the library's collections of videos, e-books, and articles.

Instructors: Contact a librarian if you are seeking a film for classroom use and cannot find it in one of the above collections.
